Two fracking years ago our laptop was stolen, and at long last our ever-faithful Zach, God of tech support, has been able to track down a replacement.
In the two intervening years I have had two children, moved into an apartment far superior to the wretched one-bedroom hole we were previously inhabiting, and become (frighteningly) a die-hard Final Fantasy fan.
FFXII, and Balthier, are to blame for the last of these. Anyone who knows me in any real capacity will not be surprised. Snarky womanizer with British accent = LOVE, yes? As such I am currently neck-deep in ideas for fanfiction, which will be consolidated into a full novel-length rewrite of FFXII should I ever velcro my ass to my writing chair and get it all figured out. Additionally, I've discovered bluelaguna.net and its exhaustive collection of cutscenes, ripe for downloading and being made into AMV's. I'm sitting on about ten ideas. Multitasking, anyone?
Coming out of a two-year creative dry spell is like HEAVEN. Watch this space.
